Weight, gender, and skill level at any tournament event determine your sparring partners. During class time it is determined by weight, and skill level, this allows all students to perform at their maximum best.
Discipline, concentration, and respect are a key factor in sparring. You are trained in these key areas before you are asked to enter into any sparring event.

Sparring is not only a great sport to participate in, but many people come by just to watch the school when practice is taking place. The students at Moon’s U.S. Tae Kwon Do College love sparring, as it challenges individuals to be at there best. b

Members are often asked to perform at Special events, to demonstrate their skills in breaking, sparring, and weaponry use. Members rehearse a choreographed demonstration that is not only beautiful to watch, but is also used as a teaching tool for other students to learn from. Member’s trained for demonstration events consider it an honor to be part of "Moon’s U.S. Tae Kwon Do Demonstration Team."
