All students are trained
in Olympic style sparring. Olympic style sparring brings out the best of the students abilities, in control, power, and concentration.
Each student (young and the not
so young) is encouraged to attend tournaments that are held throughout
the year, to gain knowlegde of their level of skill, and training.

Tournaments
are a great way, for young and the not so young, to find out their strength and weakness. It is the best learning tool to
know your skill, discipline, and control. But it is also great fun to able to witness some of the worlds best athletes
come to test their skill level

all) you always come away with a little bit more knowledge than you had before. It is the experience that makes you better
in learning ways to improve your skills.

Moon's U.S. Tae Kwon Do College offers a well structured and balanced sparring arena for the student to learn
and practice their skills. Teaching respect for their opponent as well as self. respect.

Weight,
gender, and skill level at any tournament event determine your sparring partners. During class time it is determined by weight,
and skill level, this allows all students to perform at their maximum best.

Discipline,
concentration, and respect are a key factor in sparring. You are trained in these key areas before you are asked to enter
into any sparring event.

Members are
often asked to perform at Special events, to demonstrate their skills in breaking, sparring, and weaponry use. Members rehearse
a choreographed demonstration that is not only beautiful to watch, but is also used as a teaching tool for other students
to learn from. Member’s trained for demonstration events consider it an honor to be part of "Moon’s U.S. Tae Kwon
Do Demonstration Team."
